Vova Galchenko was born in Penza, Russia in 1987. He came to USA in 2003 with his sister Olga. They won the IJA Teams Championship in 2004 and Vova won the IJA Individual Championship in 2008. He has also won numerous WJF competitions and IJA Numbers Championship gold medals.
