Judy Finelli

JudyFinelli2Judy Finelli (born 1948) was the first woman to compete in the competitions of the International Jugglers’ Association, doing so in 1973. She was also the first female President of the IJA, leading the organization from 1971-1972. She was the co-founder of the San Francisco School for Circus Arts and was the artistic director of the Pickle Family Circus from 1987 through 1990. She was a well-known juggler throughout the 1970s and 1980s. She retired from performing in 1989 and has been a much sought after juggling teacher and coach ever since.

BurgessClubThis is a Stu Raynolds fiberglass club used by Hovey Burgess and Judy Finelli in 1977 to pass 10 clubs. This achievement was a first for American jugglers.
