Howard Nichols (1894-1977) was an American specializing in amazing hoop rolling and hoop juggling. In a career that spanned over 50 years, he performed all over the world and even performed with Enrico Rastelli. He began as a member of the Nichols-Nelson Troupe, which was made up of various family members and close friends.
This is one of Howard Nichols’ wooden hoops. It was found in a trunk of Howard’s props in a basement of an apartment building. Donated by Joe Murray.
